There is a universe of lighting rigs out there. One I have been using for years is a Christmas light.
This is a 4x4 frame with Christmas twinkle bulbs. The reflector is Roscoflex.
The one in the picture I've had for years. It is a great source anytime the lighting source is some type of firelight or candles. I've also used it for fashion type work.
The quality of the light is great. It is a very warm, soft, tungsten glow.
I can't take credit for the Christmas light. I first saw it years ago working with Andrew Howell on History Channel shows.
The downside of this rig is it is fragile and not easy to store.
I'm guessing there are around a thousand bulbs on here. |
