Something big is coming soon . . .
This huge reflector case with the spot and wide reflectors arrived last week. The reflectors are for the Aputure XT52 which will be here soon. It will have 5200 watts of power with Aputure's BLAIR engine. It will be a revolutionary light; very bright with exceptional color control and quality. I'm so excited to have one on pre-order. I'm expecting it to be delivered in the next month or so.
I'm gradually replacing my COB LED lights with Aputure BLAIR engine lights. I have 1200Xs replacing my 1200Ds. I plan to get 400Xs and 80Cs. I expect in the near future Aputure will release a BLAIR engine version of their XT26 which I will add to my lineup, too.

PS: Aputure is coming out with the Nova II soon which will feature the BLAIR engine. This sounds like an amazing light but I'm am not planning on upgrading my Nova 600Cs for the Nova IIs in the near future. For what I use the Nova 600Cs for (color washes, lighting cycs, etc.), I don't see much advantage in upgrading them. The Nova 600C is an amazing light. I may even buy a couple more if the price drops because the Nova IIs are coming out.
