Don't Be Doing That!

Covid-19 Week 18!  It has been going on so long now that I had lost track.  I had to look at my calendar to check.

We all realize at this point there is no end in sight until there is a vaccine or other treatment for Covid-19.

Union movie work looks grim until then.  Fortunately, I have been getting 1-2 days a week of commercial work the past month.  Not a lot, but enough to get by.

It has been disappointing to watch the new Covid-19 outbreaks all over the country.  The cause of course are the few people who are not doing the right things like social distancing and wearing masks.

An example are my son's neighbors.  He told me how they just got back from a vacation to Myrtle Beach.  The lack of social distancing there has people calling Myrtle Beach a pertri dish.  Then when the neighbors got back home, they had a big pool party.  It is shockingly irresponsible.

Some of the guys I once played basketball with are now playing in the park.  Again, it is shockingly irresponsible.

It's the few spreading Covid.

It's the few keeping businesses closed.

It's the few spreading sickness that threatens the lives of our grandparents, parents, children, spouses, partners, and friends.

It's the few causing suffering and death.

Ultimately, it the reckless, selfish few making the Covid crisis worse than it needs to be.

To quote the Governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear:

"Don't be doing that!"
